My exams are creeping up so expect irregular posts from me. However, on the upside, Karla Akuhata from By Microwave and formerly of the Waikato Times will be joining us. I'm stoked to have her on board and look forward to her posts.

So you might have noticed I've been quiet for the past three weeks. It's not that I don't have anything to say, just I don't have the motivation to say it right now. Hopefully I'll make a comeback in 2 weeks time (when the uni holiday begin). While I'm gone, check out these blogs.

Short break

Blogging will be light to non-existent in the coming weeks. I have an exam next week and then another the following week. Given that I have yet to really start studying I thought I had best give blogging a break and focus my energies elsewhere. Of course, should an important issue pop up, I might give my thoughts. I'll be blogging furiously in November in the run up to the election though, so hang tight.

I have a few tests coming up so I probably won’t have time to blog over the next week and a bit. In the mean time have a look through the archive. Maui St is the only blog that analyses Maori political issues on a regular basis and in any real depth. Much of the material here is not covered in the MSM, the blogoshpere or anywhere else really.

Of course there is far more to Maui Street than this. The above pieces merely caught my eye while I was picking through the archive. Maui St is a niche blog that covers issues that are usually neglected or treated poorly if covered. I like to think Maui St offers an authentic and thoroughly unique perspective - untainted by party association or cultural detachment. Anyway, If I go on I risk sounding self-absorbed and overly enamoured with my own opinions. So I'll stop. But I will recommend you follow the links in the Maori Blogs list. It's well worth the read.
